Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a maintenance position to keep grounds, facility, and equipment in safe, efficient condition in line with applicable standards and policies. The role supports daily operations, coordinates with nursing services for resident areas, and ensures proper maintenance of building systems and spaces.

Responsibilities include following schedules, reporting incidents, and maintaining incoming supplies and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions; able to accept constructive criticism.
• Must maintain care and use of supplies and equipment; keep work areas clean and organized.
• Willingness to seek out new methods and principles and incorporate them into maintenance practices.
• Mathematical skills to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems with concrete variables and follow written or schedule form instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for assigned shifts or areas.
• Report all accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate maintenance with nursing services when working in resident areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, and facility equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information including protected health information.
• Follow safety precautions and use of equipment and supplies.
• Assist others in lifting heavy equipment or supplies as directed.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned and stored properly at end of shift.
