SP+, a Metropolis company, is seeking a facility maintenance associate to support cleaning, repairs, and customer interactions at our Miami location. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and consistent service to keep the garage clean and operations smooth.

Responsibilities include minor repairs, painting, inventory control, and assisting customers while ensuring gates and ticketing systems function correctly. Strong communication and a professional demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education may be required depending on the assignment.
• License Requirement: Valid state-issued driver’s license if driving company vehicle.
• Availability to Work: 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.

• Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively; reads and interprets information.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as directed to keep the facility tidy and safe.
• Walk the garage daily to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Sweep entrances and stairs, clean rails, and maintain office and restroom areas.
• Empty trashcans in garage, booth, and office.
• Paint surfaces as needed to keep areas neat and presentable.
• Replace burned-out bulbs and address minor repairs.
• Report repairs or maintenance needs promptly to the Facility Manager.
• Check gate arms, ticket spitters, and gates for proper operation and timing.
• Provide ticket and gate counter information to management.
• Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and activity logs.
• Operate equipment such as sweepers, scrubbers, and light maintenance tools.
• Shovel snow and assist with winter maintenance as assigned.
• Notify management of safety hazards or policy violations.
• Assist customers and resolve complaints with or without supervisor.
