Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Facility Specialist, Maintenance at our Hazle Township, PA site. You will ensure the safe and efficient condition of the facility and equipment, performing maintenance and simple repairs as needed.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, system inspections, safety, housekeeping, and compliance, with forklift certification required and basic computer skills expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of facilities maintenance and repair experience.
• Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the building and equipment; perform general maintenance and simple repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical, electrical, or custodial.
• Perform preventative maintenance on building and equipment systems; coordinate inspections.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair building and equipment to ensure daily operations and reporting problems.
• Identify safety hazards and maintain a safe work site during repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnose problems and perform emergency repairs; determine methods and priorities of work assignments.
• Operate equipment such as sit-down/stand-up forklifts, scrubbers, scissor lifts, pallet jacks; maintain forklift certification.
• Perform grounds maintenance as assigned.
• Follow SOPs, safety, and OSHA/MSDS standards; maintain organized workspace.
• Other duties as assigned.
