Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Port Reading, USA, seeks a Facility Specialist, Maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation of our warehouse and equipment. You will perform maintenance and simple repairs across plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical, electrical, and custodial tasks.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of facilities maintenance experience, basic math and English, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must have at least one year of general facilities, systems maintenance, and repair work experience.
Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse.
Forklift certification required.
English language skills required (reading, writing, verbal).

Responsibilities

Maintain the building and equipment; perform general maintenance and simple repairs.
Perform preventative maintenance on building and equipment; inspect systems.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment to ensure daily operation.
Identify safety hazards and maintain a safe work site.
Operate equipment such as forklift, pallet jack; maintain certification.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
