Job summary

Sunshine Retirement Living is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee preventive maintenance of the Community, including building interior/exterior, grounds, walkways, and parking areas. The role may back up the Community Driver for resident transport as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of hands‑on maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage emergency repairs with contractors while staying within budget.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years’ verifiable hands‑on maintenance experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, etc.
• Ability to perform and/or coordinate emergency building repairs; including contacting subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Assures maintenance and repair of Community interior, exterior, and equipment, by supervising or performing tasks as directed by Executive Director.
• Inspects Community and monitors Maintenance log daily to address concerns.
• Implements and assures adherence to Community maintenance programs (HVAC, carpet, mold, etc.).
• Performs emergency maintenance on a on‑call basis and coordinates repairs with outside personnel.
