Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep our community safe, clean, and well-functioning for residents, families, and team members. You will perform maintenance tasks, simple repairs, and support various facility projects in a hands-on role.

The position emphasizes safety, compliance, and daily building operations, with opportunities to contribute to preventative maintenance and resident comfort.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures)
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory
• Support carpet and floor care as needed
• Assist with suite “make-ready” preparation
• Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards
• Participate in emergency preparedness and fire drills
• Drive community vehicle as assigned
