Job summary

Sunshine Retirement Living is seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant to support maintenance of the community interior and exterior, including resident apartments, grounds, and equipment. The role may involve coordinating with subcontractors and assisting in emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable hands-on maintenance experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; may be required to assume Community Driver duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise maintenance tasks for interior and exterior areas; coordinate with outside personnel as needed.
• Inspect Community and monitor Maintenance log daily to address concerns.
• Implement maintenance programs (HVAC-related, carpet-related, mold-related, etc.).
• Meet deadlines in repairs and order maintenance equipment as needed.
• Assist in safety, emergency preparation, and resident/housekeeping tasks.
