Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our senior living community safe, clean, and well-functioning. You will handle routine maintenance tasks, basic repairs, painting, and preventative work while supporting HVAC and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Experience performing basic repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to follow OSHA and safety standards.
• Willingness to drive a community vehicle if assigned.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders.
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures).
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects.
• Support HVAC, water, and mechanical system maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory.
• Support carpet and floor care as needed.
• Assist with suite make-ready preparation.
• Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and fire drills.
• Drive community vehicle as assigned.
