Job summary

The Maintenance Technician role at Kw-Property-Management- in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is a non-exempt, hourly position. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems and coordinate repairs with vendors under the supervision of the Chief Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor.

The job requires the ability to respond quickly to emergencies and to work indoors and outdoors at a resident property.

Qualifications

• HVAC certifications preferred but not required.
• Minimum two years general experience in building trades, repair and replacement maintenance or handy-work.
• Ability to react to emergencies within 30 minutes and may be required after hours.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional trade experience and certifications may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Schedule vendors and coordinate repairs for emergencies outside routine maintenance.
• Maintain a maintenance log and service schedule.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required.
• Adhere to safety standards and ensure a safe work environment.
• Maintain equipment and assist in building interior/exterior repairs.
