Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and repairs across building systems and equipment. You will document work in CMMS, follow safety protocols, and support 24/7 operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and basic facility maintenance skills. Some after-hours work and travel may be necessary; certification or training in related systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Certification and/or training in a skill/trade/equipment/system applicable to the job and location.

Responsibilities

• Performs facility and equipment maintenance in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Documents through use of the CMMS.
• Conducts preventive maintenance tasks and repairs on basic facility systems such as plumbing, medical gas, fire alarm, HVAC and electrical systems.
• Manage response and repairs associated with emergencies such as leaks, floods, water outages, fires, power outages, equipment failures, etc.
• Reads blueprints, Life Safety drawings and maintenance manuals to gain knowledge needed to complete assignments.
