Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent is seeking a Facility Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems at Navicent Health Medical Center in Georgia. You will document tasks in the CMMS and assist with life safety systems, electrical devices, and wall finishes under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2–4 years of related maintenance experience, and a valid driver's license. Expect 40 hours per week, days schedule, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2–4 years of experience in relatable industrial/trades maintenance or operations.
• Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of technical training.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Conducts preventive maintenance tasks and repairs on basic facility systems and documents tasks through the computerized maintenance system.
• Assists in evaluating and troubleshooting basic building system failures and performs repairs as directed.
• Operates and monitors and maintains basic Utility System Infrastructure.
• Assist in maintaining fire alarm and fire protection systems.
• Supports the installation of building hardware, electrical devices, and wall finishes under supervision.
• Maintains preventive maintenance records and equipment repair files for compliance.
• Reads blueprints, Life Safety drawings and maintenance manuals to gain knowledge needed to complete assignments.
