Job summary

FirstService Residential in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Maintenance Staff Member responsible for keeping mechanical systems and common areas clean, safe, and well-disinfected, with a focus on reliable operation. You will perform routine tasks in painting, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general building upkeep, follow safety procedures, and respond to daily work orders.

The role is full-time, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years general experience in building trades or maintenance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Multilingual ability is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Routinely walks floors and inspects for problems, reporting to supervisors.
• Follows safety precautions while performing work.
• Maintains good working relationships with building staff.
• Paints common areas and advises manager on needed touch-ups.
• Completes daily work orders as scheduled and maintains equipment.
• Performs minor carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and painting repairs.
