Job summary

FirstService Residential in Highland Beach, FL is seeking a Maintenance Staff Member to keep mechanical systems operating and common areas clean and disinfected. The role involves painting, light repairs, and daily work orders in a fast-paced building environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years general experience in building trades or maintenance.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Routinely walk floors and report issues to supervisors.
• Ensure safety precautions are followed during work.
• Maintain positive relationships with building staff.
• Paint common areas and advise manager on touchups.
• Complete daily work orders as scheduled.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition.
• Perform light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and flooring repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Leverage new equipment after proper safety training.
