Job summary

Defined Fitness Inc. seeks a capable Facilities Maintenance Tech to preserve club locations, perform preventive maintenance, and manage building systems.

The role requires hands-on skills with hydraulic, electrical and HVAC systems, plus strong communication to coordinate with club leadership. The candidate should be a proactive, team-oriented problem-solver with a high level of organization, able to handle multiple facilities and reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role.
• Certification in HVAC, building maintenance or relevant field preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems and maintenance procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Valid NM driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office and related software.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment operation and inspect buildings to identify faults.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quality checks on systems.
• Manage heating, plumbing and electrical systems for functionality.
• Carry out general maintenance including landscaping and painting.
• Maintain inventory records for equipment and supplies.
• Oversee repairs and replacements to maximize productivity.
• Coordinate with club leadership and management on maintenance issues.
• Order equipment parts and supplies using the internal PO system.
• Lead safety programs with District Manager of Operations & Facilities.
• Perform carpentry, lighting, HVAC and plumbing repairs as needed.
• Maintain logs for pools, saunas and chemical levels.
• Utilize ticketing system to track requests and updates.
