Planet Fitness is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep clubs safe, clean, and fully operational. This role performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and uphold brand standards.

This full-time position requires attention to safety, reliable scheduling, and clear communication with management. You’ll work on cardio and strength equipment, HVAC, lighting, and facility systems to maintain a welcoming, high‑quality environment.

Qualifications

• Must have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• Able to read maintenance manuals and technical docs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine club maintenance inspections and safety checks.
• Repair or coordinate repairs for gym equipment and facilities.
• Maintain logs of inspections and repairs; coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and Planet Fitness standards.
