Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep clubs safe, clean, and fully operational. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs to ensure a positive member experience in a well-maintained environment.

You will work closely with club management, complete work orders promptly, and uphold Planet Fitness brand standards while contributing to a reliable and welcoming fitness space for members and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience performing routine maintenance and repairs in a club or facility environment.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals and technical documentation.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; able to prioritize multiple work orders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with team members and management.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Complete preventative maintenance on fitness equipment and club facilities.
• Repair or coordinate repairs for cardio equipment, strength equipment, and other amenities.
• Maintain HVAC, lighting, plumbing, electrical components, and facility surfaces.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies; keep logs of inspections and repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors for warranty repairs and specialized service.
