U.S. Facilities, Inc. (USF) seeks a Maintenance Technician I to support maintenance operations at a Tallapoosa, GA location.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and building systems to keep facilities safe and operational. The role requires a high school diploma, hands‑on plumbing experience, and flexibility for overtime and varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hands‑on plumbing experience required.
• 2–3 years QA/QC experience preferred.
• Journeyman electrician certification or HVAC certification preferred.
• Experience in industrial/large commercial maintenance preferred.
• Good standing with the applicable state licensing board.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and trouble calls and provide timely service.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment and building systems.
• Carry out carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs to keep facilities maintained.
• Repair fixtures, lights, doors, and drainage; maintain parking lots and signage.
• Inspect subcontractor work and ensure it meets contract standards.
• Promote safety practices and proper procedures on maintenance tasks.
