Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for our St.

Marys, GA location. The role focuses on responding to work orders, troubleshooting, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, fixtures, and building systems to keep facilities safe and fully operational. You will create and update work orders in the CMMS, assist technicians, and ensure safety practices while meeting contract standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hands-on plumbing experience required.
• 2–3 years QA/QC experience preferred.
• Journeyman electrician or HVAC certification preferred.
• Experience in industrial/large commercial maintenance preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to work orders and trouble calls.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and building systems.
• Operate HVAC equipment and related systems.
• Perform general maintenance such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Inspect subcontractor work and ensure contract standards.
• Create and update task/work orders in CMMS.
