Job summary

U-Haul is hiring a Facility Maintenance Technician in Brainerd, MN to join a team of technicians executing complex building projects. You will perform general maintenance, install, repair and service, and participate in ongoing U-Haul education via U-Haul University.

The role requires hands-on work with a variety of tools and coordination with other technicians. This full-time position offers a robust benefits package and the opportunity to advance within a safety-conscious, health-focused

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Valid driver’s license.
• D.O.T certification (can be sponsored by U-Haul).
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
• Pool knowledge with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
