Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in Brainerd, MN is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain and repair building infrastructure across multiple sites. You will perform routine maintenance, installations, and semiannual roof inspections while using a range of hand and power tools.

The role emphasizes teamwork with other technicians, completing work requests promptly, and ongoing training through U-Haul University. A valid driver’s license and DOT certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
• Pool knowledge with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
