Job summary

Homestead of Del City is seeking a Maintenance staff member to uphold the physical integrity of the community. You will perform repairs, upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment, and ensure safety systems are functional.

Responsibilities include following policies, reporting concerns, maintaining confidentiality, and assisting with emergency procedures. Interact with residents and staff with respect and diligence.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Regular worksite attendance.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on building, facilities, equipment, and grounds of the Community.
• Follow Community policies and report abuse or concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Ensure electrical, plumbing, and safety systems are in good working order.
• Organize and participate in fire drills; inspect safety equipment regularly.
• Assist with moving residents and furniture as needed.
• Maintain and service Community equipment (washers, dryers, boilers, ACs, furnaces, lawn mowers).
