Job summary

JBS USA is seeking an hourly Facilities Maintenance Tech for 2nd shift in Mason, OH. The role includes basic and routine maintenance, construction and repair tasks. The position starts at $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work with others.

Responsibilities

Monitor water treatment facility performance to ensure compliance and proper treatment.
Monitor refrigeration systems and maintain proper temperatures with minimal supervision.
Inspect electrical systems and troubleshoot faults with basic testing equipment.
Install and start up production machines and other plant equipment.
Resolve maintenance issues promptly with minimal disruption to production schedules.
Follow lock out/tag out procedures and perform equipment PMs.
Keep and update maintenance history logs and related paperwork.
Understand and follow GMP and safety rules.
