Job summary
JBS USA is seeking a Maintenance Tech for the 2nd shift in the United States. The role starts at $28-$40 per hour, based on experience, with comprehensive benefits including vacation, medical/dental/vision, and a 401(k).
The technician will troubleshoot and repair production line equipment, install and maintain electrical systems, and ensure safe operation in a no-kill food processing environment. Heavy emphasis on electromechanical maintenance, high voltage work, and reading drawings to support
Qualifications
- Industrial/commercial electrical background required.
- Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills on production lines.
- Basic PLC knowledge and programming familiarity desirable.
- Ability to work in variable temperatures and safety-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair production line equipment.
- Inspect and maintain electromechanical and electrical systems.
- Install and wire electrical equipment per NEC and standards.
- Maintain safety procedures and documentation.
- Read engineering drawings to install and calibrate equipment.
- Perform high voltage switching and operate generators when needed.
