Job summary

Merola Tile Distributors of America is seeking a hands-on maintenance leader to manage day-to-day operations across the organization. You will supervise maintenance technicians, coordinate repairs, ensure equipment reliability, and drive preventive maintenance excellence to support lean manufacturing and rapid growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years in maintenance or facilities in manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and maintenance procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
• Forklift and/or aerial lift certification preferred.
• Experience supporting multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, onboard, train, and develop the Facilities and Maintenance team through daily direction and feedback.
• Assign and coordinate daily maintenance activities and preventive schedules.
• Conduct daily team huddles to communicate priorities and safety expectations.
• Foster accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement culture.
• Perform and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Coordinate vendors and service providers to ensure safe, on-time work.
• Monitor KPIs, downtime, and maintenance reports to drive improvement.
