Job summary

Aspiring Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the facility and equipment maintenance team in a growing manufacturing plant in South Windsor, CT. The role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production equipment.

The ideal candidate will coach technicians, manage preventive and predictive programs, and drive continuous-improvement initiatives while coordinating with engineering, quality, and operations leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial technology, facilities management, or related field.
• Five or more years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience required.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated equipment.
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled machinery, industrial controls, HVAC, compressors, boilers, and facility systems is preferred.
• Experience using a CMMS or similar maintenance-management platform.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and industrial safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and support personnel.
• Plan and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Maintain production machinery, facility systems, utilities, and supporting equipment.
• Reduce equipment downtime through root-cause analysis and corrective action.
• Develop maintenance schedules that support production requirements.
• Manage the CMMS, work orders, maintenance records, and spare-parts inventory.
• Establish and track maintenance performance indicators, including downtime and equipment reliability.
• Coordinate equipment installations, upgrades, repairs, and capital projects.
• Manage relationships with outside contractors, equipment suppliers, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, safety policies, environmental standards, and applicable regulations.
• Support continuous-improvement, lean-manufacturing, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Prepare and manage the maintenance department's operating and capital budgets.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and operations leadership.
• Provide hands-on technical support when complex equipment issues arise.
