SP Plus Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Portland, ME to oversee maintenance operations, schedule tasks, and guide a team in delivering high-quality cleaning, repairs, and seasonal projects. The role emphasizes safety, environmental compliance, and customer-ready site conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience in maintenance or related field.
• Experience ensuring compliance with federal and local environmental regulations, especially water pollution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations in assigned portfolio and develop/close new SP+ Facility Maintenance opportunities.
• Direct and manage routine cleaning, maintenance and repair tasks; schedule and supervise work.
• Walk prospective maintenance jobs and submit timely proposals.
• Oversee daily functions of maintenance staff to ensure quality and timely completion of projects.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Be on-site during special projects and seasonal maintenance.
• Coordinate work with on-site manager to manage contracts and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with environmental standards and corporate governance.
