Job summary

ZT Group Int’l. is seeking an experienced maintenance professional to oversee or coach the maintenance staff in a manufacturing environment. You will ensure reliability of equipment, coach technicians, and manage PM schedules and SOP improvements.

The role involves leading maintenance efforts, driving continuous improvement, and coordinating with production leadership on repairs and capital projects, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent education/experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2-5+ years of relevant work experience.
• 0-1 years of experience in maintenance leadership.
• Experience with automation and robotic recovery is required.
• Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Experience in team building, coaching and succession planning for technicians.
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing experience.
• Ability to communicate in technical terms with skilled labor.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and building code.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA code.
• HVAC‑R knowledge.
• Cooling tower knowledge.
• Electrical up to 480VAC 3‑phase.
• Basic knowledge of motor controls.
• Experience with employee portals systems (timecard, performance reviews).
• Good knowledge of CMMS systems.
• Good preventative/predictive skills.
• MS Office software applications proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Direct and support the Maintenance staff, providing coaching and both positive and negative feedback.
• Maintain maintenance KPIs to ZT standards (MTBF, MTTR, PM completions, downtime reports, slack time reports and project status).
• Schedule repairs and PM schedules with production leadership.
• Maintain inventory min/max levels.
• Work with mechanical contractors for rebuilds.
• Critique and improve SOPs to increase maintenance performance.
• Manage continuous improvement and capital projects.
