Job summary

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance activities, drive equipment reliability, and ensure safety and operational performance in a manufacturing setting.

You will oversee maintenance technicians across shifts, coordinate preventive maintenance, troubleshoot diverse equipment issues, and partner with production leadership to boost plant performance while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and safety best practices.
• CMMS experience preferred.
• Technical degree or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support maintenance technicians on all shifts as needed.
• Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed in compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture through safe work practices, risk identification, and employee coaching.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Support lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and other safety programs to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and spare parts inventory.
• Partner with production and plant leadership to prioritize maintenance activities and improve overall plant performance.
• Assist with capital projects, equipment installations, and process improvements.
