Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in steel manufacturing or heavy industry.
• 2+ years of supervision leading a maintenance team.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Associate degree or technical certification required; relevant work experience considered.
• Familiarity with CMMS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor maintenance technicians to ensure efficient daily operations.
• Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of plant machinery.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance across the facility.
• Coordinate emergency repairs and minimize production downtime.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement activities.
• Drive process improvements to improve reliability and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment history.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams.
