Job summary

Seattle Colleges is seeking an Interim Associate Director of Facilities to lead facilities maintenance, grounds, custodial and mail services on a Seattle campus. You will ensure health, life safety, and building code compliance while guiding a small team and coordinating with Capital Projects and Administrative leadership.

You will work in person, report to the Vice President of Administrative Services, and oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer service

Qualifications

• Associates degree or two+ years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance or operations.
• Three+ years in facilities maintenance, physical plant operation, construction, EH&S; equivalent education/experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and oversee maintenance, grounds, pest management, and custodial work across shifts.
• Manage CMMS work orders for building systems and custodial equipment.
• Oversee CMMS usage for all departments and ensure facilities compliance with codes and policies.
• Supervise a team including electrician, grounds staff, painter, and office supervisor.
• Collaborate with Capital Projects and Administrative leadership on plans and standards.
• Attend capital project meetings and contribute to policy development.
