Job summary

Borger Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Parkway Plaza in Washington, DC. The role oversees operation and maintenance of building equipment and leads the maintenance staff to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant facilities.

You will manage preventive maintenance, energy management, and housekeeping of equipment spaces, aiming to minimize operating costs while maintaining high reliability across all systems.

Qualifications

• Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be trained and experienced to safely handle specific hazardous materials associated with building maintenance.
• Abilities to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, blueprints, schematics, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write repairs, business correspondence and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate building equipment within design specifications.
• Supervise Building Engineers, Assistant Building Engineers and Maintenance Technicians.
• Perform preventive maintenance as prescribed by manufacturer recommendations and specifications.
• Manage energy usage to keep operating costs at a minimum.
• Maintain lighting systems and perform repairs or replacements as needed.
