Zusammenfassung

Salt Lake City Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Specialist II to perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance across multiple trades in city facilities. You will guide less‑skilled staff on shared work and assist more senior technicians on larger projects.

The role includes maintenance of plumbing, electrical, mechanical and control systems, with experience in energy management and safety procedures. A valid driver's license and forklift certification within six months are required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade knowledge preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints, circuit diagrams and operation manuals.
• Familiarity with CMMS and computerized recordkeeping.

Aufgaben

• Maintains a broad working knowledge of materials, systems and code requirements for city facilities.
• Performs preventative maintenance on building systems including plumbing, electrical and control systems.
• Repairs and maintains facility components; handles low and line voltage, door hardware, fire and safety systems.
• Troubleshoots equipment, coordinates with vendors, and reviews project costs.
• Maintains records and closes work orders in CMMS; supports energy management tasks.
• Trains staff on safety procedures and assists in emergencies or closures.
