Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to safeguard production uptime by ensuring mechanical and electrical systems run at peak performance. The role requires diagnosing faults, performing preventative maintenance, and documenting activities to support long-term reliability.

You will analyze schematics, work with HMI controls, and repair a range of assets including conveyors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and drive work.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in industrial settings with mechanical/electrical systems.
• Knowledge of LOTO and OSHA safety standards.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions in fast-paced manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Analyze electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints to repair systems efficiently.
• Use HMI systems to locate faults and defective components.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on sensors, connections, and control circuitry to avoid outages.
• Repair motors, wiring, and power distribution and address environmental damage as needed.
• Service conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic actuators, and drive systems.
• Maintain maintenance logs to track equipment health and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints to expedite system repairs.
• Utilize Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems to pinpoint faults and identify defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on sensors, electrical connections, and control circuitry to prevent unplanned outages.
• Resolve electrical failures related to motors, wiring, and power distribution, including remediation of environmental damage.
• Execute repairs on diverse industrial assets, including conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic actuators, and AC/DC drive systems.
• Maintain comprehensive maintenance logs to track equipment health and support long-term reliability initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Proven mechanical aptitude with significant hands‑on experience in industrial settings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols and OSHA safety standards.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions in a high‑speed manufacturing environment.
