The Facilities Maintenance Specialist/Electrician supports the reliability and safety of all equipment and cleanliness of the facility. This role performs preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on industrial machinery and infrastructure to minimize downtime and support continuous production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Assist with saw maintenance (training provided).
- Maintain building systems (electrical, lighting, air, water, basic plumbing).
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production support calls.
- Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and parts inventory.
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and shutdowns.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and safety guidelines.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Mechanical aptitude with industrial or maintenance experience preferred.
- Willingness to learn cutting and heavy industrial equipment.
- Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read manuals, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Physically able to work in an industrial environment (standing, lifting, climbing).
- Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented.
