Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities running smoothly in Irvine, CA. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair building systems while supporting energy efficiency and safety practices.

Applicants should have 1–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. This role requires clear communication and basic MS Office skills for work orders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and perform repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion using available systems.
• Ensure energy management by keeping systems operating efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety rules.
• Follow procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Deliver outputs by following defined procedures under supervision.
