Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain small to medium buildings and industrial systems. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs across mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.

The role involves reviewing work orders, ensuring energy efficiency, and adhering to safety regulations. The position requires 1–2 years of related experience, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma; 1–2 years related experience.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and meet physical requirements.
• Follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.
• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
