Job summary

MyPath in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to lead the maintenance department, maintaining facilities, grounds, and equipment while coaching staff and ensuring safe, ethical operations.

The role supervises CMMS work orders, coordinates with vendors, manages invoices, and supports other departments to sustain efficient, compliant facilities. Strong communication, attention to detail, and hands-on maintenance skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical school preferred, or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• Must have overall appreciation and understanding of the TCH facility’s operations and how the maintenance department should support other departments.
• Prior supervisory experience in performing & scheduling maintenance is preferred.
• Requires ability to walk extensively throughout facilities, climb ladders, stairs, and bend/reach in a 90-degree fashion.
• Effective verbal and written communication; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of the facility, grounds, and equipment.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to maintenance staff; monitor performance.
• Oversee CMMS; prioritize and assign work orders; ensure documentation and timely completion.
• Supervise maintenance department performance and efficiency, including minor/new construction and special projects.
• Review and approve invoicing from contractors and vendors in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
