Job summary

Talent Wave Associates in Lexington, KY is seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance, repair, and inspection of buildings, equipment, and grounds in a manufacturing setting. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3-7 years in maintenance/facilities in manufacturing.
• 3-5 years leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CMMS and reliability-focused maintenance.
• Knowledge of facilities/utility systems and PM programs.

About the Role

This position is responsible for managing the maintenance, repair, and inspection of buildings, equipment, and grounds, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. The role exists to ensure the reliability and readiness of equipment, contributing significantly to the organization’s operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance, repair, and inspection of buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Oversee skilled trade work such as carpentry and painting.
• Supervise construction, repair, or alteration of structures.
• Work with vendors and maintain vendor relationships.
• Build and manage the preventative maintenance program and own CMMS.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.
• Lead and develop Maintenance and Facilities Team members.
• Drive troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, or related technical field OR 3-7 years' experience in maintenance/facilities in manufacturing.
• 3-5 years leading maintenance teams.
• 3-5 years in maintenance/facilities in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Strong PM program and reliability experience.
• Experience with Facilities / Utility Systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated environments.
• Knowledge of maintenance and reliability tools.
• Lean / Six Sigma experience.

• Onsite role in Lexington, KY.
