Job summary

Mayfair Management Group is seeking a reliable maintenance supervisor to manage repairs across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, masonry, and appliances. The role requires directing staff and outside contractors, coordinating renovations, and upholding life-safety standards.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multi-tasking, with leadership and administrative task experience to support budget planning and safety programs.

• Self-motivated and detail-oriented; able to multi-task and prioritize
• Leadership and knowledge of administrative tasks are essential

Responsibilities

• Performs carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, masonry, and appliance repairs as needed
• Directs employees and outside contractors on renovations and repairs
• Directs structural repairs to masonry, plumbing, woodwork, irrigation systems, swimming pools, spas, etc.
• Ensures life-safety hazards are addressed and mitigated
• Obtains and reviews bids from outside contractors; submits bids with recommendations
• Receives, inspects, and acknowledges goods and materials delivered
• Supervises and approves all work performed at the site by outside contractors
• Leads regular safety meetings and ensures compliance with Hazardous Materials and MSDS
• Establishes work schedules for maintenance staff with Community Manager approval
• Assists in planning and administering the maintenance budget
• Participates in after-hours emergencies
• Develops and documents preventive maintenance programs
• Fosters a positive work environment for staff
