Job summary

IKEA is seeking a Facilities Management leader to execute operational requirements for a small/medium unit, guiding a team to enhance property value and efficiency in alignment with Ingka Real Estate goals.

You will forecast, support budgets, manage contracts and suppliers, and ensure documentation complies with standards while promoting IKEA’s culture and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize end value and efficiency of each property; ensure awareness of all Ingka Group Real Estate guidelines.
  • Deliver forecasts and input to investment and SISAN budgets; manage contracts and supplier relationships to improve efficiency, costs, and quality.
  • Ensure facilities management documentation aligns with Ingka standards and complies with legislation and agreements.
  • Create an environment where IKEA culture and values are a living reality for co-workers, contractors and customers.

What you'll be doing day to day

Execute operational requirements in a small/medium size unit, by leading a team of co-workers to optimize the value and efficiency of assigned properties in a sustainable way according to the Real Estate scope in Ingka.

  • Develop an efficient team ensuring co-workers understand the overall vision, direction, delivery process and responsibilities for assigned initiatives. Identify team and individual goals based on Real Estate business plan to ensure execution of the FM scope. Actively support succession planning.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, in order to optimize end value and efficiency of each property in a sustainable way. Ensure that co-workers and external partners have up to date awareness and understanding of all frameworks, guidelines and initiatives issued by Group Real Estate.
  • Deliver forecast, follow-ups and input to investment and SISAN budgets. Execute activities related to contract and supplier management to improve efficiencies/costs/equipment and quality. Ensure appropriate resources are available to manage the Real Estate business in the units and all the projects from start to finish.
  • Execute operational requirements, by leading a team of co-workers, ensuring all relevant facilities management documentation is consistent with Ingka standards and complies with all relevant legislation, regulations and agreements to ensure a safe and operational environment for the business, co-workers, customers and other stakeholders.
  • Create an environment where the IKEA culture and values are a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers, contractors and customers.

The pay range for this role is $68,649- $98,511

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of managerial experience.

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 68,649 USD to 98,511 USD and will be based on relevant work experience.
