Job summary

IKEA is seeking a warehouse maintenance technician in the United States. The role involves performing preventative maintenance on all warehouse and dock equipment, maintaining work orders, cleaning, lubricating, and painting equipment, and responding to maintenance requests while upholding IKEA's inclusive culture. Shift: Mon-Fri 3PM-11:30PM, 34-40 hrs/wk.

Starting pay is 19 USD per hour, with benefits eligible for regular co-workers and a background check/drug test required for employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years prior Building Maintenance experience required.
• Experience with hand tools and their proper use.
• Proven electrical, mechanical, and/or plumbing skills.
• Safety minded individual.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30kgs ergonomically. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have ability to obtain an IKEA forklift driver certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance routines on all warehouse and dock equipment.
• Maintain all work orders associated with preventative maintenance routines.
• Clean, lubricate, adjust, tighten, and paint all warehouse equipment as needed.
• Respond to requests for assistance from Maintenance staff.

• Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as assigned.

The hourly pay for this role is $19.00. This is a CBA role.
