Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee general operating maintenance and repairs across assigned communities. You will supervise maintenance, housekeeping, and potentially laundry staff, ensuring timely, quality upkeep of interiors and exteriors.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2–3 years related experience, plus a valid driver’s license. You’ll work with safety compliance and coordinate resident service requests as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2–3 years related experience or equivalent.
• Valid State Driver's License required for vehicle travel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance, housekeeping and laundry staff as applicable.
• Directs workers in interior and exterior upkeep and inspects work for standards.
• Oversees scheduled HVAC, elevator, fire/sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment, and emergency systems maintenance.
• Coordinates maintenance requests from residents and repairs plumbing, electrical, heating, and lighting.
• Ensures common areas are well-maintained and liaises with inspectors and regulators as needed.
• Assesses plumbing/electrical issues and determines corrective action within codes.
• Reviews SDS and handles hazardous materials precautions; responds to emergencies.
