Job summary

Cintas Corporation seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance activities at our facilities, overseeing mechanical, electrical, and process equipment, scheduling work, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to improve reliability.

The role requires at least five years of hands-on experience in industrial settings, two years in supervision, strong blueprints and MS Office skills, and a proven ability to manage budgets, vendors, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience.
• Equipment knowledge: wiring, electrical, electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery.
• Maintenance management experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, negotiating, parts management, vendor management and with maintenance management systems.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with blueprints and ability to read blueprints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and intranet/internet
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours of an 8 hour shift.
• Ability to be on call 24 hours per day
• High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Lead all maintenance activities at our facilities.
• Improve functionality and reliability of production and facility equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Manage and schedule all facility and equipment work assignments.
• Perform and schedule all preventative maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement safety processes and procedures.
• Manage budgets for building, equipment, parts and labor.
• Prepare maintenance reports and analyze performance metrics.
• Identify and evaluate parts suppliers; negotiate with service companies.
• Conduct training for maintenance staff; supervise and mentor team.
• Maintain staffing levels and respond to emergency alarms.
