Job summary

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead all maintenance activities at our facilities in Evansville, IN. You will oversee maintenance planning, budgets, and vendor management while ensuring equipment reliability and safety compliance.

The role requires 5+ years repairing industrial equipment and 2+ years of supervisory experience, with strong knowledge of electrical, piping, and mechanical systems. On-site role with 24/7 on-call readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• 2+ years’ supervisory experience.
• Equipment knowledge: wiring, electrical, electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery.
• Maintenance management experience including planning, scheduling, budgeting, negotiating, parts management, vendor management and with maintenance management systems.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with blueprints and ability to read blueprints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and intranet/internet.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours of an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to be on call 24 hours per day.
• High School Diploma/GED

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities across facilities to improve functionality and reliability of production and facility equipment.
• Manage and schedule all facility and equipment work assignments and preventative maintenance.
• Develop and implement safety processes and procedures.
• Oversee budgets for building, equipment, capital expenditures, parts and labor.
• Prepare maintenance reports and evaluate suppliers and service companies.
• Conduct training for maintenance staff and supervise the maintenance team.
