Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Planned & Preventative Maintenance Specialist for Student Life at North Maintenance. You will coordinate and execute a preventative maintenance program for building, mechanical and dining equipment across ~6.2M square feet, supervising contractors and working with Facilities Managers to keep operations safe and reliable.

Schedule: 7:00 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday, with on‑call weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2 years of maintenance experience; ability to push/pull 70 pounds; climb ladders; valid driver’s license; background check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute Student Life planned and preventative maintenance program for building, mechanical and dining equipment.
• Supervise contractors and coordinate with Facilities Managers to support operations and events.
• Respond to urgent facilities issues and manage safety compliance.
