Job summary

PepsiCo in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a Facilities Repair and Maintenance professional. This on-site role requires driving maintenance projects, coordinating repairs, and leading a team across multiple trades.

The candidate should have strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills, with experience in union environments and knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of equivalent maintenance experience.
• Experience implementing preventive/predictive maintenance systems.
• Strong organizational and scheduling capabilities.
• Leadership skills to guide technical resources and influence others.
• Experience in a union environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of steam condensate systems, compressed air, cooling towers, pumps, and piping.
• Microsoft Suite knowledge; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops tactical plans and schedules for facilities repairs and maintenance projects.
• Identifies new technology and processes to optimize resources and repair operations.
• Oversees services related to electric maintenance, mechanics, hydraulics, carpentry, and masonry.
• Supervises cleaning, repair, and installation of equipment in designated areas.
• Aligns processes with business strategy in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
• Supports a 1st shift, Monday–Friday workflow.
