The role requires five years of maintenance experience, four years in supervision, PLC training, and strong leadership and communication skills. You will work with mechanics and support staff, ensure safety standards, manage budgets, and implement improvements to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Five years maintenance experience required.
• Four years supervisory experience required.
• Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) training required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the maintenance department.
• Assigns PMs, checks PM completion and tracks completion rates.
• Manages daily activities to Mechanics and Parts Clerk.
• Ensures safety standards, policies and procedures are followed.
• Schedules maintenance staff according to workloads and vacations.
• Reviews plant equipment to minimize downtime and identifies improvements.
• Maintains food safety where applicable.
• Works with team to adhere to budget costs.
• Creates department procedures and facilitates training.
