Job summary

Greystar in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work ensuring community buildings, grounds, and amenities meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

The role requires 1-2 years of maintenance supervisor experience, proficiency with hand tools, and strong customer service and safety mindset. Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm; some after-hours as needed; competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively; basic math for documents.

Responsibilities

• Handle work orders from residents and diagnose repairs while following safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process to prepare vacant units for leasing and move-ins.
• Maintain grounds and common areas to reflect high Greystar standards.
• Inspect work of others and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Manage inventory and coordinate with Community Manager on supplies and budgets.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in policies.
• Support budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
• Adhere to safety meetings and maintain OSHA compliance; assist residents with inquiries.
