Job summary

Greystar seeks a maintenance professional to oversee and perform essential upkeep across community buildings, grounds, and amenities. You will diagnose issues, complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, and maintain high-quality standards reflecting Greystar's brand.

Responsibilities include coordinating vendors, inspecting work, and contributing to budget-conscious maintenance plans. Strong customer service and safety compliance are required to deliver reliable, resident-focused service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools and be skilled in using hand and power tools.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to diagnose problems.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication with residents and team.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate to represent management.
• Proficiency in office software; property management system experience preferred.
• Mathematical skills to handle financial/administrative calculations.

Responsibilities

• Handle work orders from residents and perform routine maintenance.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Set cleanliness standards for grounds and buildings to meet Greystar quality.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of parts and materials; assist budgeting and cost control.
• Participate in monthly preventive maintenance procedures.
• Support community manager with budget for repairs and capital projects.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
