Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work at the community. You will ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality of buildings, grounds, and common areas, handling resident work orders and make-ready processes.

The role requires EPA certifications, hand tools, and strong customer service. Schedule is Monday–Friday with rotating on-call; benefits include robust medical/dental/vision and generous paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to use hand tools and maintain safety standards.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, schedule vendors, and ensure quality.
• Maintain grounds, exteriors, amenities, and common areas to Greystar standards.
• Inspect work by teammates and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Assist in budgeting for regular repairs and capital projects.
